BOTOX® is licensed in the UK for the treatment/management of adults with:

  • Blepharospasm, a localised movement disorder that affects the muscles that control eyelid movement causing excessive twitching
  • Idiopathic cervical dystonia (spasmodic torticollis), the involuntary twitching, spasm, or movement of the neck muscles
  • Severe hyperhidrosis or excessive sweating of the armpit, which does not respond to topical treatment with antiperspirants or antihidrotics
  • Hemifacial spasm, a neuromuscular disorder characterised by unpredictable and involuntary twitching of facial muscles on one side of the face
  • Wrist and hand disability due to upper limb spasticity associated with stroke
  • Leakage of urine due to bladder problems associated with spinal cord injury or multiple sclerosis, not adequately controlled with anticholinergic medicines

BOTOX® is also indicated for:

  • The prophylaxis of headaches in adults with chronic migraine (headaches on at least 15 days per month of which at least 8 days are with migraine)

BOTOX® is also indicated for focal spasticity, including the treatment of:

  • Children aged two years or older with cerebral palsy suffering from foot deformity caused by persist muscle spasms in the legs
