Each year we offer 7 Industrial Placements including Science based, Business Support (Communications, EHS, and HR). These are part of a structured programme. The Science placement opportunities are there to support students who have chosen a life sciences degree course which includes a year-long industrial placement. Science students at Allergan Biologics gain invaluable laboratory experience assisting and working alongside trained scientists in either our Process or Analytical Sciences Laboratories.
Examples of relevant courses/disciplines include, but are not limited to: Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Cell/Molecular Biology, Bioprocess Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Microbiology, Biomedical/Biological Sciences, Forensics, Molecular Biology and Genetics.

Our scope of work focuses on developing innovative biologic products and biosimilars allowing us to lead the way forward in the development of biosimilar versions of complex biopharmaceutical products.

We offer work placements throughout the year. We partner with Liverpool Compact Education Business Partnership for most student placements aged 14 to 16 years from the Merseyside area.
Schools who are registered with Compact will have details of how to apply for a placement with us. Details can be found on their website. We consider applications for work placements outside of the Compact scheme each year. Please detail the reasons for your request, experience you would like to gain and preferred dates for a one week placement and at least two options for dates.
We want to ensure that any work opportunity is maximised so we plan these placements well in advance. We are inviting applications for 2017 now. Decisions will be made at the application review board meetings which are held every 3 months. Successful applicants will be notified immediately after the review board meetings.
